The EHA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award is awarded for an achievement or commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and demonstrating DEI principles​.

The nominated person must have:

  • Made a valuable contribution to the field of hematology
  • Shown dedication to their work and commitment to furthering the field of hematology​
  • Been responsible for pioneering and innovative work in DEI in the field of hematology​

2025 winner

Anna Schuh

Prof Anna Schuh received the EHA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award for her advocacy in promoting a more inclusive and equitable environment within the hematology community.

We thank her for her commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through her teaching and time. Her work has created an environment where inclusivity is felt by students, in that they feel seen, heard, and valued.
